I have configed :
line vty 0
&
line vty 1 4 ..
how do I get get back to only line vty 0 4? "no line vty 1 4" gives "cant delete last 5 lines".

"no line vty 4" comes back w/ "cant delete last 5 vty lines".

type in "line vty 0 4" and configure it just like you have "line vty 0" configured. That will remove the entry for "line vty 1 4".

Yea, nice reply forbesl. I think that even might be a CCNA question. You will need to know that of by heart, as well as the configuration for a console port. Make sure you now that of by heart and what mode you have to be in to access that too.
