Difference WEP and WPA-PSK

WEP uses a encyption key and with WPA PSK we again define a pre-shared key , so how is WPA-PSK different from WEP?

and the documentation stresses on the dynamic key exchange for WPA, as we are defining a static PSK key for WPA so where is the 'dynamic' part?
and if the keys are dynamically generated in WPA than what does the PSK in WPA-PSK do?

Temporal Key Integrity Protocol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's the main difference, the way it handles encryption dynamically per packet, it's still using the RC4 that wep used.

The math formula for WEP is too simple and easly cracked with common tools in a few minutes, it has weak packet headers. WPA-PSK is a better algorithm called Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). Later a hole was found and the Wi-FI group upgraded it to WPA2 which uses AES. So in a nutshell the differences are all about the strength of encryption.
