Hi looking for some advice in setting a virtual set on my home machine to practise on. What virtual software do you use (i believe VMware has a free version?) I know threes a MS free version as well. Welcome aboard. CPU is not a biggie. You will want to focus on sticking a lot of RAM on that laptop, 16GB is possible, and an SSD. Those will be your major contention points.
