Cable Modem acting weird!
Good morning all!
I have a strange one for you.
My cable modem sends and receives like crazy when it's completely unplugged from the network.
Now, I know that my cable company have scanners and monitors for their network, but would it really make my modem lights blink A LOT?
I'm worried that something is going out in it and it's destroying my internet.
I have noticed slowness while surfing the internet, downloading music and playing xbox live.

OptionsKaminsky Member Posts: 1,235Could just be usual ISP traffic such as ARP, etc. If you are concerned, download wireshark and see what traffic is going across the interface.Kam.

That maybe the case, since I live in an apartment.
