Terminal Access Server and Switches

Can a terminal access server connect to console ports on Cisco switches? (29xx/39xxx/etc)

I have only been able to get the async lines to work with routers.

    Yes, they should work exactly the same.

    It does indeed work.

    I was using the wrong port (2001 instead of 2033).

    It is strange that the async light on the nm-16a will not come on when connected to the console port of a switch. However, it will come on when connected to the console port of a router.
