i am Network Administrator. my one lab pc having windows XP showing a message "unmounted_disk_volume" ,what is the problem with my system can any one tell me the solution for this problem?

Computer_Wizz_Pizzaguy Member Posts: 60 ■■□□□□□□□□From my own experience, that could simply mean XP can't mount your HDD ...possible cause : MRB corrupt. Or it could just be a head crash and your HDD is crap. It's kinda hard to say without more info like how it happened or what you did before that happened.

rossonieri#1 Member Posts: 799 ■■■□□□□□□□well, i've never seen that. was it a boot error with blue screen? -> if yes then your MBR is corrupt - try to repair using your win xp bootable cdrom / recovery console / ERD, if not then you can try using disk management and refresh/rescan the disk.the More I know, that is more and More I dont know.
