MCITP:EA - Charter Member?!

in MCTS / MCITP on Windows 2008 General
Hi

Last tuesday, I passed 647 and became EA and when I look at my transcript, it says charter member.

I searched and it says it's for limited people for certain period of time

I'm just curious anyone had same thing?

I got MCSE :2003 and then upgrade to EA with 649 and 647

any idea why or how I got charter member?

I'm just really curious

    You were one of the 1st x number of people to pass the exam (where x varies from one exam to the next).

    I've had a few of them over the years, especially if you write beta exams.

    I have to pass within 6 month of exam release, and I know a person who took 647 last year and didn't get charter member certification

    I'm not saying I don't like it, I'm just curious

    Ah sorry I missed the "last Tuesday" bit. That would be a mistake then, Charter membership would have completed a year or more ago. :)

    To be honest the only difference is "Charter Member" on the certificate and on a rare occasion an ugly jacket or desk trophy

    What tests did you take to get your EA?

    for me, I finished MCSA, MCSE and then I took upgrade exam and 647

    I took 620,640,642,643,647.
