QoS similarities between CCNP and CCVP

I'm just now looking into going after the CCNP. I know that with some Cisco tracks, if you take one test in one professional level track, it'll count for a different track. I took a QoS test for my CCVP, but I don't think it'll completely replace a test in the CCNP track - or am I wrong? I think it'll just help me in passing one of the NP tests, unfortunately.

I had thought about contacting Cisco about this, but after they gave me incorrect information last time, I nixed that idea.

The QoS exam does not count toward the NP. You can use it towards the IP though if that interests you.

It's also not likely to help in the new implementation of the NP, as it seems they've decided QoS is no longer a subject appropriate to the track
