Looks good, but for my needs I think I'll have to hold out for Windows for Workgroups. Sorry. icon_sad.gif

I would be interesting to run Windows 3.1 in a VM and assign it multiple cores, although I have heard that won't work.

    That was awesome.

That was the best April Fools' Day advert I have seen in a while. ChessBase.com is usually pretty good as well. But theirs tend to be Chess related.

ME should have meant "Memory-Leak Edition."

3.1 ruled. WfW was better and a lot more playfull, 95 they started locking things down. Now on Vista, I'm amazed the OS allows me to type this.. I absolutely hate ME and will delete it wherever I find it. I used to even make up excuses why I needed to put a different OS on, I hated it that much. Seriously sh.te OS of ALL time!

I remember first loading windows 1 back in the day. Stuck a st.t load of disks in and hours later run the app (it was just an app back then) and all it did was a make full screen white empty box with a menu at the top... I was not impressed, especially as I stayed after college to stick all the bloody disks in and after that, I had to walk half hour to the train station and then jump on the train for an hour and another 20 minutes walk when I got there to get home! (computer course weren't as local then as they are today) This "Windows" would never catch on and will be just another fad !

My first computer was a Packard Bell running none other than Windows 3.11 icon_lol.gif

There was this game, I think only on PB's, where you were a mouse and had to block in these cats with blocks while trying to get the pieces of cheeze on the map. I LOVED that game. Also Skifree, how can you forget skifree?

^ I think we had the same computer.

I remember in the ski game if you kept going up instead of down and did it long enough a monster would chase you and eventual catch up and eat you.
