Couldnt it also be Service Access Point that indicates what host application is being used, i cant remember.

Because the title of this thread says: "What are SAP updates?" it's most probably Novell's SAP. Which has always been a common topic for the CCNA exam, although less likely to appear on the current 'new' CCNA exams.

I went back and looked up what I couldnt remember. I remeber the LLC DSAP, SSAP which is very different than SAP. Whew, now that I got that cleared up.......LOL........
