Good afternoon all.
I've passed my Security+ and Linux+ exams. I'm about a week away from taking my Network+ and after that I'll get the A+ (just to have it).
I'm curious, when I've completed all those...what else might i need to get to obtain the any of the above mentioned designations?
Thanks!

MentholMoose Member Posts: 1,525 ■■■■■■■■□□Welcome to the forums. In order to achieve any Microsoft certifications, such as MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, you will have to take and pass Microsoft exams. The CompTIA exams you listed do not provide credit for those Microsoft certs (other than Security+, which I believe provides some credit toward the MCSE: Security cert). Take a look at the Microsoft web site for the requirements of their certifications:

In terms of the MCP most of the exams for this certification have been discontinued. Now you can get the MCTS which is similar in that it shows proficiency in one single microsoft technology.
The MCP is not only a specific certification, but also applies to the community of Microsoft Certified Professionals holding ANY certification.
