Can someone explain what a "Primary group" is ?
Hi,
Getting nearer to the end of my studies for my operating system exam ( i have XP and networks left to cover) can someone explain what a Primary group is please.
I understand it is something to do with security ID's. What is it and is it likely to come up on the exam?
Thanks miniman

Very doubtful you'll see this on the A+. More likely good info for MCP studies. Primary group by this definition is just the default group for various types of objects within a Domain(M$ network)."It doesn't matter, it's in the past!"--Rafiki
