Studying is never a waste of time. You'd never have put that much effort into learning the material if it weren't for the cert, and now you are all the better for the time you spent. Now go enjoy yourself.

I was told by my company on Dec 23rd or so that I had to have a CISSP for my position and could i take it that week....LOL.... so after 3 months of studying I read the Sybex CISSP book by Ed Tittel, a lot of quiz's from http://cccure.org For the experience for the test I worked in the IT dept of a bank for a lil over 5 years and did a lot during that time and now I work for the US Army as a Sr. Administrator.
During the test the best advice I would have is write the answers in the booklet before writing in the scantron sheet and finish that way then when you are done with test, fill all the bubbles in.
