Image Database Program

Hi All

We are an artificial floral company, and so we produce thousands of pictures each year or items. Currently, we have a picture directory with various sub-folders. The problem is copies are made from there to other places on the network folders, some people get images from different sources, and the whole thing is a mess. I am looking for a program that will keep these images in a folder, and make them searchable based in filename and metadata tag by all users in the company. Does this make sense? Anyone have any thoughts?

Yes, sounds like you need a program that index's images and does OCR reading.

Scanfile is a relative cheap product that does this.
