A+ test split question

I took the network+ cert yesterday and passed! yay... taking the A+ hardware portion today... My question is i wanted to know is there a day limit that i have to take the software part of A+? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.. i'm new to this site and i already love the info i found on it... :D

    Not as long as the same version of the exam remains available. But, if CompTIA would upgrade the exam, and when the option to take the older version runs out, you would likely have to retake the A+ hardware under the new objectives. However, this isn't likely to happen real soon because they just upgraded and the option to complete under the old objectives died not too long ago. And, CompTIA seems to give plenty of notice about these things, just keep an eye on comptia.com for news releases concerning these exam upgrades.
