CCNP Lab- before exam

Hi,

Exam day is slowly approching (13th of MAY).Today i setup a lab, and try to configure and test as much SWITCH topics as i can.

-Etherchannels (Pagp&Lacp)
-VTP modes (server&client)
-DTP (dynamic auto, dynamic desirable, hardcoded trunks)
-VACL`s
-DHCP Snooping
-STP
-HSRP

On my "access" switches (2960) IP source guard, DAI, and some other things are not suppported. I will Lab this topics tommorow on my 3550.

I connected the two "distribution" switches with L2 and L3 link.... And then the fun begin

HSRP & STP test - VLAN33:
- no interface tracking


ping from client1 192.168.13.50 to loopback13 172.30.13.1


-link failure between DIST1&FLUSH
-DIST1 remains the HSRP active for vlan 33
-2 pings lost
-fast convergence because off EIGRP


-link failure between ACC1&DIST1
-DIST1 remains the HSRP active for vlan 33
-9 pings lost
-slow convergence - DIST2 only PVSTP+ capble



HSRP & STP test - VLAN17:
- no interface tracking


ping from DHCP Server 192.168.17.13 to loopback13 172.30.13.1


-link failure between DIST2&FLUSH
-DIST2 remains the HSRP active for vlan 17
-1 ping lost
-fast convergence because off EIGRP


-link failure between ACC1&DIST2
-DIST2 remains the HSRP active for vlan 17
-1 ping lost
-fast convergence - RSTP between ACC1&DIST1



HSRP test - VLAN33:
Layer 3 link shutdown between DISt1&DIST2
interface tracking (link between DIST1&FLUSH)


-link failure between DIST1&FLUSH
-2 pings lost
-HSRP preempt on DISC2


HSRP test - VLAN17:
Layer 3 link shutdown between DISt1&DIST2
interface tracking (link between DIST2&FLUSH)


-link failure between DIST2&FLUSH
-1 ping lost
-HSRP preempt on DISC1

So i feel confident in most of areas....my weekest area is wireless for sure, but i have still a week and half in front on me

I have the BCMSN exam on the 14th May.

I plan on doing up a mega lab like yourself incorporating all the topics (Except wireless). Hopefully I get the time to do it.
