Really pleased to have got this one out of the way! Scored 850 which I'm rather pleased with. This was my second attempt at this this exam (made good use of the second shot voucher). My study resources included the Mike Meyers' Passport book (bit old-school now), the Transcender and the resources found here at TechExams. Now a MCSA

Thanks guys I keep checking my MCP transcript but it’s still yet to be updated hehe. My advice would be to firstly get the test booked in while the Microsoft second shot voucher is still valid – don’t be afraid to fail this on the first attempt even if it is rather disheartening (you won’t be alone!) as the experience I found from simply taking the exam proved to be very beneficial on the second attempt. In terms of the learning aspect, my method of study was to first read up on the weaker topics and fill in any knowledge gaps. Do sample questions via a tool such as the transcender and install the server OS and configure the various components tested. I know this is advice is rather generic but it worked for me.
