Need advice on CCNA exam 1

zeddiezeddie Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□
Hi,

I'm currently following a CCNA course in Belgium.
The first final is next week. (CCNA 1)
On the practice exam I had a score of 89.4%
My question is this : Is this practice exam similar (not in the sense of the same questions) to the final exam in degree of difficulty ?

This would surely calm my nerves and alter my study scheem icon_smile.gif
ThX in advance for any advice.

I'll have to add that the practice exam was the one from cisco.

from my experience, if you are getting a 80% or above every time u take a practice test, you got a good chance of passing, but it sort of depends on the ptest u are taking... these guys are great and have a deal where if you dont pass u get your money back.

ThX for the advice but I meant the practice test at cisco.com
    within the CCNA course.

If you took the practice final closed book then you will do fine on the final exam. My advice to you is to review any of the questions you missed on the modules (if your professor has allowed this). When I took the final, I had seen many of the questions beforehand.

    Thank you for your reply.
The confidence will serve my nerves well :)

I will keep everybody informed about the whole of the course.
and maybe in a few months can help some people out here.

    Again,
    ThX for everything.

You'll find that most of the questions are more in depth and alot harder than what you'll actually find on the CCNA exam. I assume this is done on purpose to drill the information into your skull, but if you consistently score well on the academy tests (without having the test beforehand to study), you will do well on the CCNA.

Just finished today Semester 2. Sorry to say that the practice final here in the USA, is NOTHING like the real final for semester 1 or 2. But if you know your stuff you can answer the questions. Semester 1 threw in alot of diagrams. CISCO questions poorly written so be ready for anything. Good Luck
