Passed Security+ today with a score of 876!

Methods of study:

Took Into to Computer Security at the community college. We had our final exam today too. I went to my class final right after I finished the Secuirty+ test.

Textbooks used in class: Security+ Certification by Microsoft, Exam Cram 2 Security+.

I also bought the Exam Cram 2 Security+ Practice Questions.

This website (Very helpful).

I had heard many horror stories about the test. Poorly worded questions, etc. I did not find this to be the case. Most questions were pretty straight forward. A few seemed to have come out of left field but I could narrow them down to a 50/50 guess.

My targets are now set on CCNA.

Congrats!!! Do you mean you bought the extra Exam Cram 2 Security+ Practice Questions or the ones that come with the book? Either way were they near to the real thing?

I bought the seperate practice questions. I got it as a combo pack at Amazon.com. I felt the Exam Cram 2 practice questions were harder, much more nit pick details, than the real test. There are a few mistakes on it though (the CD anyway, I didn't really look at the book to much - All questions in the book are on the CD) but over all it is pretty good.
