It took a few minutes for my first 10 eBook order to complete. The 2nd 3 eBook purchase when a lot quicker.
I tried logging in to my account page from my Kindle DX, but the hamsters powering the O'Reilly web server seem to be tired and I couldn't get into my account. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to try downloading again since they seem to be getting hammered....5/21/2010 — Due heavy server volume you may experience
trouble downloading your ebooks.
We expect to have the issue resolved soon. Please continue to check back....:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

What were in your top 10? -

I did grab the TCP/IP Network Admin book since I spent a lot of time in that back in my old UNIX days -- and a couple of the Security books.
I'm still fighting the urge to "eBook" my UNIX/Linux and Java O'Reilly collections. I ripped the "Greatest Hits" CDs years ago and still lug those ISOs on my Laptops.
Edit: The "Greatest Hits" were the old CD Bookshelf products.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

mikej412 Member Posts: 10,086 ■■■■■■■■■■O'Reilly seems to have figured out this eBook thing. It seems I can upgrade any of my existing "old fashioned books" to multiple eBook formats and read them on my PC, Kindle, or iPod Touch for one very reasonable price.
Some vendors that used to provide a free PDF version on the CDs provided with their books seems to have figured out they can remove them from the CD and charge an "Arm & a Leg" for a Book/eBook combo -- or an outrageous price for the eBook alone.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

A ton is an understatement. I picked up some cisco and ms stuff on the droid market. Great resource! -
