CCNA Voice IIUC exam Thursday

chmorinchmorin Member Posts: 1,446 ■■■■■□□□□□
I take the IIUC exam on Thursday. I have been studying for a little over a month and have created many lab situations in my home to prepare, along with CBT Nuggets and the official study guide, and not to forget the study notes in this forum.

I feel pretty confident I am going to pass the exam. I really enjoyed the material and really like CME. After this certification I will be focusing on my bachelors degree, and perhaps a specialization certification in CME once I get better equipment.

Wish me luck!

Good luck... I'll be interested in knowing how well you did. I have the same materials as you... I initially didn't plan on taking the exam, but I really like the VoIP world and may begin to explore in that area a lot more... we'll see... Again, good luck to you!! icon_thumright.gif

Good luck, what have you been using to test yourself on the material?
It's not important to add reptutation points to others, but to be nice and spread good karma everywhere you go.

Aced it with a 935. If I had to give any advice to others pursuing this exam it would be to know the 411 on the exam topics. Some questions were pretty much the opposet of what one would expect. But that is cisco for yah.

good job man!! I had no doubts you'd pass, even if I was making fun of you in that thread where you asked if I could predict you passing :P

I had a 2620 router (I suggest a better one that supports router on a stick). I also had a 2924XL switch which did everything I needed to do. I also had alot of 3700 routers virtualized in GNS3 being used with my physical hardware. This way I was able to use dial peers, and other fun things to simulate a distance CME. I suggest buying the real thing though, the headache from GNS3 are probably worth the money, but if you have the money go for it.

Also two 7906 phones and cisco ip communicator.
