power supply strange plug (router end)

Can anyone tell me what kind of plug is this? I've ordered an old 831 router and it came with this

I thought the 831 used a regular barrel plug for the PSU connection?

The exact plug type is probably some Molex design. Cisco used PSUs with a similar plug for the old 1700 series and probably others.

I bought it off ebay, and after an hour of googleing I've found out that plug is for 828 and 877..

If it doesn't fit in your 831 and it shouldn't if I remember correctly then they've sent you the wrong PSU.

yeah thanks he recognized that he sent the wrong one, so he's now shipping correct one
