Passed 70-680 today with a score of 863 :D

Was my free second chance, after getting 615 the first time ^^

Now it's time to study for my other exams, nothing to do with certification, but I'm still a college student icon_cool.gif
Current cert:
MCSA: Windows 7, 8 & Server 2008
EXIN ITIL v3 Foundation
EXIN ISO 27002 Foundations

    Mostly used the MS Press Book and used Technet articles about the important stuff like dism, usmt, ...

    I passed the 70-680 today (second shot).

    I thought I'd prepared for it really really thoroughly, but I still didn't pass by much today - make sure you are really ready before you take it. I had only recently started using Windows 7 as an OS so learn your way around it first.

    Congrats on getting that milestone accomplished!
    Barely passing Windows 7 is an accomplishment as a lot of people are taking this exam multiple times. It's a very difficult exam.

    Just noticed you were new Beany, Welcome to TE!
    My signature shows what I'm studying now. You can add a signature and details (what's below your avatar/username by going to User CP at top left of your screen.
    Taking 70-642 in a few weeks. Be sure to lab it up for the 83-640, I just took it May 10th. Learn the material in the 83-640, a lot of it will be repeated in the 70-642 along with stuff you learned while studying for the Net+ and Sec+.

    Good luck with the 642, its nice to hear the 83-640 is behaving again now, over here in the UK certainly, its been postponed quite a lot. I've studied the material once, I'll go over it again and practice the SIMs...

    Are you heading towards the ITP too? I'm the only IT person in my company, no'one else can share my pain/excitement!

    Yeah, going for the MCITP:EA.
    I've heard the sims have had trouble in the UK. When you take the exam don't log in early either, MS now has a disclaimer (at least I did) that if you log into the test earlier than scheduled it could result in the sim not working and you would fail the exam.

    My friend complained the same thing and we are in Africa. Will soon join you guys. Hopefully i will be MCSE certfied this july. And am goin to upgrade asap.
