The Beast is dead!

I finally managed to slay The Beast today! I really thought I was going to fail again, but then things started feeling better once I reached the simulations. I had 8 sims in a row, but I actually didn't think they were that bad. There were plenty of tricky questions on things that weren't even in my study material, but that's to be expected on MS exams I guess. If you're studying for this exam, add at least 2 weeks more study time once you think you're ready to go. It truly is a Beast!

    No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

    Thanks! I'm trying to decide what to take next. My final goal is the MCSE, but I want to get my MCSA on the way and I just need one more elective to get it. I'm considering the Network+, Security+, or the 70-299. What do you guys think?

    If your goal is the MCSE go for the 293 within the next few weeks. Many of the objectives are duplicates of the 291.

    What kind of xcore did you get on the 291?

    I got a 764 this time on the 291. How much harder is the 293?

    I thought it was a little easier. But some people say it is the hardest of the MCSE exams. I'd just put in a few weeks of lab and study and then start doing some practice tests.

    I think 293 is the hardest test so far, even after weeks of labs and testing it took me 3 times!
