VLSM ?

I have many problem in "maximizing available host IDs with VLSMs".
who can help me ?who have any information about this?

and I'm studing networking infrastructure 70-291,and I want to know
how can find some guideline about DNS.

VLSM = Variable Length Subnet Mask

The Microsoft Press training kit for 70-291 covers this and DNS in detail.
