I can get it by taking only one extra exam but I'm really skeptical about its worth in the real world.
What do you think?

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminNot all, but those who are looking for someone with security skills, it will stand out. And the security specialization might just be the reason why you get the job instead of that other guy who's 'just' an mcse.

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,101 AdminI would say that it's clearly worth it if you don't have the word "security" currently in a title in your resume.
M$ currently has a student discount for their cert exams at $60US each (reduced from $125US), and you can retake a failed exam for free. This offer is good through Jan 31, 2005.
