Started a new blog...
So I started a new Blog. Mainly AD focus, with some system center and a spot for my thoughts on certifications.
Are there any topics people would like to see? Or any tech tips (from simple to fairly complex) that people would like?
Just looking for input.
The blog is: The RepAdmin Active Directory Blog
Thanks all!

Awesome!
And thanks. I will do.
Are there any tasks you are interested in for AD?

I'm a noob so I am loking for tips on working with AD, GPOs and general Windows Administration. I would also like to see any helpful commands and WHY you would use these commands.
I really just need jumping off points to show me what I need to research lol. Little pointers from a seasoned Win Admin are always good.
Some GPO theory will be comming right up in a few days.

Awesome.
I do believe you are right about most people just installing AD and going on with life. In my test lab that is exactly what I did
Back to the lab with you!
And feel free to comment on the blog... at the blog:)

Will do!
I'm kind of new to AD, no actual work experience with it yet.I took the 83-640 last month and taking the 70-642 this month, already started studying for the 70-643. I'd also like to see some stuff on setting up GPO's as that was one of my weak areas and I'd also see a little about what I will actually, vice reading/studying, see when I'm in your position.
I'd like to see a little about when and why you use a lot of the new features in Sever 2008.
The blogs looks great!! I will be taking 2 server classes this summer starting July 19th , and I will take all the extra training/resources I can get
Learning server in 10 weeks instead of our typical 12 seems tough, but I’m going to give it a go.
I look forward to reading and watching your blog develop.

Dunno... hope people like it:)
And... 10 good weeks is enough time to get your feet well and truly wet. Good luck!

Yes. Scripting with dsmod, dsquery, and dsget.
I have some examples on my blog if that helps.

You may learn something!
Also, are there any concepts or ideas with regards to AD that you all think should get some screen time?
My next one is discussing GPOs.

After the GPO's I'd probably like to see something about server deployment and the why you would use different methods and something on the placements of servers.
Well, ask and you will recieve:
Group Policy Object Decisions: Monolithic GPO
Post two is up. I will delve further into GPOs in the future.

I'd like to see a good writeup on security best practices for designing organizational units.

Maybe some LDAP stuff?
That is something I am currently working with a client on. And that is something that is going on my list. Granted, that lists is growing rapidly:)
And thanks everyone. I will keep you all updated.
