Does anyone have an eassy way to remember IRQ and DMA settings?

I'm also having problems with CPU Sockets.

Yes, use the second quiz on the following page, over and over, until you memorized them all:

Yea, Basically repetition is the only way. Except for IRQ you can remember odd to even, even to odd for com ports. COM 1 and 3 is IRQ 4 COM 2 and 4 is IRQ 3. and theres also a bit of a reversal pattern for the COM DMAs, Ive forgotten what the COM DMA's are exactly tho, are the 3EE8, 3FF8, 2EE8, 2FF8.. if thats them, then how I remembered was, 1 and 3 are the higher numbers ( 3 ), and the letters went from bottom to top if that makes sense. like 1 is E, 3 is F.. and its the same idea for COM 2 and 4. I might be confusing you, its hard to explain. lol. Also, for the LPT IRQ ports, which are 5 and 7 I believe( good chance im wrong, heh ).. it goes from LPT2 to LPT1, when you would think it would go in order.. LPT1 to LPT2.
I think everyone has there own way of remembering things tho.
