installer dialog

I have a set of computers where office 2000 was installed. The problem is everytime the computers boot up, the installer of office 2000 dialog box pop up. I have tried uninstalling office and reinstalling it but I still get the same problem with the chronic office installer dialog boxes. Anyone has any suggestions on this issue?

Will I be able to see if it is on that setting in the control panel or will have to do a complete new install?

If memory serves me correctly, when you go to uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs, you will have the option to modify the installation, repair it or to uninstall it. When you choose to modify is when you see the options that others have mentioned.
