Too Close For Comfort

Well, I just got back from the testing center where I passed the exam and am now a member of the 700 club. Not sure how I feel about that at the moment, but a pass is a pass I guess.
That exam was one of the hardest I've taken for sure. There were 45 questions, 10 of which were simulations! Tons of GPO questions as well. The materials I used were the MCSE Guide to Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory book, by Course Technology, and Transcender (which really helped me prepare for the simulations), and of course, Techexams. I'm so glad to have that under my belt now. Onwards and upwards to 298!

Next up: 100-101 ICND1 :study:

I scored a 700 on the 70-642 this past week and spent a couple days after the exam brushing up on my low scoring area. A pass is a pass and now onward to the next one.
I too am a member of the 700 club (290).
We welcome you into our ranks!!!
I got 700 on the 693
I'm looking forward to getting this one out of the way though!
How hard are the final two exams (298 and 299) in comparison to 294?

Much better than scoring 693 on the 700.
Check out the security forum. From what I have learned, the material for these are nearly identical. The difference is that one is a standard test like we have all grown to love, while the other is a collection of individually timed testlets which can add some additional stress since you can't pool up time from one to another.
Many congratulations, looks like we both passed 294 within a day of each other!!
I have done 299 and I did not find it as hard as 294. 294 was the only MS exam I failed first time. I am just starting 298 now. I can see that 298 and 299 are very similar. They are basically looking at the same topic from different angles, 298 from design and 299 from implementation/configuration etc. 298 is 299 but with a security design philosophy. I have also heard that the material in 298 can be very dry. I can see this right from the start as it is delving into looking at User Access Policies within companies etc
Best of luck with your next exam!!
One more to go!!
