Passed 70-293 this morning. It does not seem as wordy. The sims were cool (except for 1 that would not work), there were a lot of 'em.
Materials used:
Wedge's notes (this helped a lot, thanks a ton Wedge!)
Sybex book (very detailed)
Exam Prep (Just OK)
Self Test (Very good)
Ucertify (Very good)
Preplogic Audio (good)
Preplogic Practice Exams (close to the new format (except for the sims)
VMware with trial version of Server 2003
The tips on this site, thanks all
Onto 70-294

Finish MCITP:EA, CCNA, PMP by end of 2012

Since the 293 isn't part of the MCSA, it sounds like the MCSE route to me.Decide what to be and go be it. -

Correct! I will complete the MCSE then move onto CCNA Sec (will be starting WGU in a couple of months). Will upgrade to MCITP after completing WGU. -

Really? I thought it was kinda verbose, but still doable.
Congrats though, not far off now. -

Thanks!
I failed it back in January and the questions were much longer. At that time, I had about 10 minutes left after completing the test. This time, I had 54 minutes left.
Has a lot of time passed since you took this test? -

I did this one about a year ago now. Studying the material was very rewarding for me regarding the PKI/certificate theory and also the NLB stuff. That's why I would encourage anyone to not be content with an MCSA; there's much more technology that needs to be covered.
I remember enjoying this exam for some reason; the questions seemed straight forward and logical even though they were lengthy. 70-294 was a painful experience I'd rather forget.
