Failed TSHOOT by a whisker, the most annoying part is i knew what i had got wrong but you cant go back, will be attempting in a weeks time.
To add, im studying from Kevin Wallace TSHOOT Cisco Press guide and also used his Cert Kit - and there where a few questions in the exam which the book had not covered - so be aware
But overall a very enjoyable exam in a strange way, you really need to have a had alot of lab time to nail this one, i had set up the same lab as the topologies cisco had released about a month ago and this helped me loads.
The finer details really count, as some answers could do the same job as another but its choosing the optimal one of the choices that will be right
Hopefully this time next week I shall be a CCNP - or rebooking at a cost of £115

billscott92787 Member Posts: 933Good luck on those future studies as well! Just be careful because someone is lurking around the forum that assumes, if you fail the TSHOOT beta, TSHOOT 1st attempt (paying) and pay to take it a 3rd time and pass, that you used ****. Well, at least someone from the forum that read my blog thought that. I guess we all enjoy paying $200 an attempt to fail just for fun
Heck, let me go ahead and schedule my CCIE written $350, I know I'm not ready yet, but just so I can fail it and have some fun losing my money! -

Lol, yeh I love to throw money away, as I have loads of money - not, i wish i had had a chance at the Beta but I was taking BSCI at the time, so would have cost me less overall - be worth it in the end though
A tip for anyone taking TSHOOT - deffo set it up in GNS 3, using a Frame Relay switch for the Frame relay stuff - and routers to simulate the clients and Servers just use "ip address dhcp", also if you use the switch module for the 36/3700 routers you can set up trunk links, SVI etc

Better use an online voucher vendor to save some money. The one site that I go to usually sell it for $330.:study: Life+ -

I will probably check into it when it comes time for me to take the exam. I've still been trying to track down who left a nice comment on my blog.... -

Could you please clarify when I am allowed to retake the exam.Candidates who fail an exam must wait a period of five (5) calendar days, beginning the day after the failed attempt, before they may retest for the same exam.Best, sacredboy! -

You should be eligible 5 days from the date of failure.

I used it, and thought it was worth every penny of the $119. -

I've the ExSim-Max, and it is somewhat useful. I would say, if you want to practice more & more, you won't be satisfied with it.[ ]CCDA; [ ] CCNA Security
