TSHOOT passed!
Passed TSHOOT today with a 876/1000! I had like 1 hour left on the clock. I studied by labbing up the topology over and over again. My advice would be to take your time, if you get stuck on a ticket you can abort it and come back to it later.
Also I had some issues with show commands not being very 'trust worthy', show run was the way to go.
Anyway my journey to become a CCNP has come to a close, I don't really know where to go now. Because this new CCNP track doesn't really have MPLS and QoS I'm thinking CCIP would be a good step forward, especially if I want to head down the CCIE path later on.
Good luck to everyone else going for CCNP!

TesseracT Member Posts: 167Nice one dude, definately the most stressful cisco exam I've taken. To me though it seems strange being a ccnp without knowing much about qos. Are you the same or have you ha. A lot of experience with the iscw and ont material?

I felt the same way so once I got my CCNP, I went back and went over the ISCW materials, since I already studied the entire ONT book, since I was going to take the old route instead of TSHOOT but ended up taking TSHOOT. My recommendation is to read over both, especially if your going to go after the CCIE. That's the funny part because now that the new track I'm assuming doesn't really contain the old materials of ISCW and ONT, there is a HUGE void to fill if you don't have any experience with those areas since they are in the blueprint. -

Really? I must have missed that somewheres - I thought the CCNP had MPLS and QoS..... I guess that was the old track.
Has it also downgraded wireless and security? -

Man, I'm glad I stuck it out and got the "old" CCNP.
I'd be glad to hear if they've dumped a lot (nay ALL) of the Wireless gumpf too
