I have a 2620xm. I bought it from ebay and it was supposed to have 48 mb of flash memory. I called the guy and he said he'll send me a 48 mb memory stick... The router reads 16mbs. I'm guessing that's onboard memory. So does he just need to send me 32mb memory sticks so that it can make 48mb. I also read that 48 is the max on the 2620xm.. Thanks

mgeorge Member Posts: 774 ■■■□□□□□□□2600XM series routers have 16MB on board flash memory. You'd need a 32MB 3.3v 80pin SIMM flash stick to max the device out to 48MB flash.
If you have 12.2(7r) bootrom then you can only have 128MB ram using 2x 64MB 100pin 125mhz sync memory DIMM's, if you have 12.2(8r) you can have 2x 128MB DIMM's giving you the ability to run 12.4(15)T which requires 256MB ram and 48MB flash. There is no place like 127.0.0.1 -

I stand corrected, the "non-XM" routers don't have the on board flash.
