Has any one heard anything else about this exam?

I would really like to take the beta when it comes out. Any thoughts about it?

After going over storage for the 70-643 ( a little deeper than the exam dictates) I'd be interested in taking the Beta.
Do you have to do anything to be invited to take a CompTIA Beta exam? What could I do to increase my chances of being invited to take the beta?

CompTIA beta exams used to be available to everyone at a discounted rate, but for more recent betas like for the Linux+ and Project+ you could apply for a free voucher at CompTIA (this one for example). Note it's limited to 400 test takers only.

Maybe when they actually introduce a new certification they will do a public beta again.
