HSRP practice on 2500series?

Hi,

I am trying to get more hands on with HSRP. I have 5 or 6 2503s at home. Could I use a couple to do HSRP? If yes, are the configurations similar to doing it on a 3560e?

Any links, info or lab suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I don't see why you couldn't use the 2500 series. I'm not sure when the HSRP was introduced into the IOS... but check to see if you have the standby command and you should be good to go if you do. I think labbing this is like with anything... you'll have to make up your own scenarios. Be sure to play around with the preempt and the interface tracking. Good luck.
