Adding a gateway

I must really be missing something.

I go to Device > Gateway on CUCM 7 and 8 and there is no where to put the IP address?

What type of gateway are you trying to add?

An MGCP gateway is setup using the gateways hostname, not IP (you’ll see it’s IP when it registers with the cluster)

An H.323 gateway is setup using it’s IP address…….in the “Device name” field.
