Thats awesome that you got it. If you haven't already check out ethicalhacker.net they did a write up there on it. I have been wanting to get this as well but my boss wants me to focus on SCCM at work and put security on hold for a bit. I would definitely like to hear your thoughts on this.

    Have fun with your training.

I have many years exp with workstations and servers (MS). Very limited exp with linux. Also I have some exp with firewalls, VPN, gp, etc. No exp with programing.

I took the heorot.net training and helped me a lot to understand how to attack a target without exlpoit, that training was basic but very interesting.

For the moment the module that I am studying about web application is touching only the basic, we will see what happen in chapter 3

I never imagine that this will happen. I do not feel the time. When I begin to realized it was two hours reading the flash cards, downloading some tools and doing some practice that they tell you to do it plus your own searches. This is great.

Coupon code from Hakin9 magazine good until the end of the month: HAK9-ELS-5. I believe it takes off about $30. Not a big difference but better than nothing if you were planning on signing up.

That sucks. I only tested it on the pay in full option. I couldn't figure out how to add the 3 payment plan to the shopping cart.

No time soon, want to wait until CPE credits will benefit me. The course does interest me though, we use Backtrack 4 in a few of my classes. I subscribe to Hakin9 magazine and saw the coupon in a recent email they sent me, since I remember reading this thread a few days ago I decided to post it for anyone who might be of interest.

Austin Community College. I have 8 more classes left before I finish up and transfer to WGU. Most of the professors work full time in IT and just teach part time.
