I found a website that has, so far been great for learning basic linux commands.
Linux Survival :: Where learning Linux is easy allows you to practice your basic linux commands, from within a java enviroment, no install or livecd required. I just finished modules one and 2, a refresher for me going over commands such as:
mv
cd
cp
mkdir
rmdir
chmod
and so on. I think anyone who is jumping into linux command line should defiantly check it out.
