I'm a student. Can I sign up for the JK0-701?

I'm a student at NYIT and recently heard about the JK0 that was designed to be offered for students. If I were to register for it, do I simply need to show up to the test with my student ID? How does it work?

Anyone can take that test if they get the special voucher. Check with your school to see if they offer it, not all of them do.
Decide what to be and go be it.

If you have a testing center on-site tell the Admin you wish to take that exam. They have to go through a "bit of a process" with CompTia to get the special voucher and price. I believe it's at least 48hr notice they require.

The school has to be an E2C member to get the discounts...
