CCNP journey off to a good but difficult start
I passed BSCI today with 898. It's the most difficult exam I've ever taken in my life. I already lost hope when I was halfway through, but I just kept going. I was even more depressed when a lady who was taking it for the second time finished in less than 45 minutes. It took me the whole 2 hours to finish it off. I'm happy that all my effort haven't gone in vain.

It is a real shocker, the difference in the NA and NP exam experience.I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.

Heero Member Posts: 486Just took the BCMSN, and already had the BSCI. In my opinion, the BSCI is significantly harder than the BCMSN. I scored about 100 points higher on the BCMSN than the BSCI, and I put a decent bit more effort into the BSCI.

Having taken dozens of certification exams in my IT career I (and many others) would say the same thing.
The other CCNP exam were a walk in the park compared to BSCI (I have dubbed it The Widow Maker at my place of employment.)
The main thing is that Cisco says you scored well enough to pass and that it all that counts.
Here were my study times:
BSCI - 9 months
BCMSN - 2 months
ISCW - 3 weeks
ONT - 3 daysCCIE written here I come...
