Passed today with a 876. This was my first attempt. What I used to study:
Sybex 2nd Edition
ExamCram2
ExamCram2 Practice test book
PrepLogic
Tcat's Test simulation
This site - from the study notes, posts and practice tests
I thought that all of the practice exam's, especially the ExamCram2 practice book questions to be HARDER then the actual CompTIA exam. I felt very prepared from the above resources. There were a few questions that could have had multiple answers and were kind of tricky but other then those few the rest of the exam was clearly written. I had been studying since the end of November and took last Friday off work and spent Friday, Saturday, Sunday ALL DAY preparing from the above resources. Next up is finishing my GIAC - GSEC and going for MCSE.
Thanks to all for answering my questions over the last few days. This site is absolutely great and I am glad I found it.

Yes there is, however the SANS material and actual conference goes a lot more in depth on Security. Tought me a lot, if you can afford it or can get your work to pay for it I highly recommend Track 1 at SANS. -
