    Congratulations! I too recently got promoted to IT Manager a month ago. I manage two IT staff under me at a small company. I would be interested to see how you adjust to the management role. We should share stories about being new to IT Management.

    LOL you bet I will. I was in the USAF for 10 years. And I plan to run it like the military! The great thing is I get all the passwords to everything. Oh yeah! I cannot wait to learn the network setup.

    All the best. I was an IT Manager myself back in 2000 - 2003 with three sites, two in the UK and one in NYC. It's a good role and you will learn a great deal. Work hard, be careful and you will be fine.
