Passed CCNA - 08/16/2010

I passed 640-802 today(08/16/2010). Having passed tough certificate exam - CISSP and RHCE two years ago, I would say CCNA is not easy. I felt that I would fail in the middle of the exam, until I saw the first page of the score report. I passed with score 898. not a good score. With the time and efforts I spent on the exam, it is not too bad.

I have worked in IT filed for many years, doing System admin like job. I spend three hours commute to work each day, do not have much time to study. I have studied CCNA for four months in spare time. I did not finish all the learning materials and rushed to the exam. luckily I passed.

I used below learning materials:
CBT Nuggets - Jeremy Cioara
CCNA Study Guide Sixth Edition - Todd Lammle
CCNA IOS Commands Survival Guide - Todd Lammle
CCNA Exam Cram Exam 640-802 - Michael Valentine; Andrew Whitaker
Packet Tracer 5.3
CCNA Audio Book - Prelogic

Below words in red are on the score report:
"Cisco policy requires that you wait a minimum of 180 days before retaking an exam ( with an identical exam number)"

Be well prepared for CCNA exam. If you fail, have to wait six months to retake it.

If you fail an exam, you have to wait 5 calendar days. If you pass the exam, you have to wait 180 days.

And grats by the way. A one exam path is no small feat.

Congrats on your achievement, I have heard this is one of thee difficult exams. Was this the first time you took the exam?
