How come there are scant resources here on this exam? No sticky, not much posting. I am looking at upgrading my MCSA and am going to take this. Does anyone know its difficult level? I am a current System Admin that has good experience with Windows 2008.

Any books you can recommend.

There is always the MS Press Training Kit and the Sybex book. Those always go well together.
    Amazon.com: MCITP Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-646): Windows…
Amazon.com: MCITP: Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator Study…

The Sybex book was written by a TE Member who is on here ocassionally. (Darril Gibson)
Look up the skills measured SKILLS Measured and basically research a few technet articles to answer questions not addressed in the books.
    Good Luck in your studies.

I'm studying for this exam, both books are really good resources and i feel that they are enough to learn and pass.

Why not create your own resources?

As earweed mentioned, you can go through the Skills Measured section and then search for articles on technet or other sites that cover all of the exam requirements. Collect all those links in a post here and you will have created a resource guide that everyone can use. Researching and gathering all of the links is also a great study exercise.

That's what I'm doping for the 70-647. It's still not complete as I haven't taken the 70-643 yet so I'll be completing that after I pass the 643. It's not that hard collecting the resource links and here's the instructions to put the title on your link as they're all inthe format http://technet.--- and those don't automatically put the title on your link:
Copy/paste the title>bold>underline>insert link (delete the http first) by copy pasting the address of the article.
I could probably take the 647 in a maximum of 2 weeks after doing the 643 as I've been researching and studying ahead due to my deciding to do the resource thread for the 647.
