Not really much point in me doing this if it expires. The only exams I'm planning on taking in the near future after I finish WGU are 70-652 which I already have a voucher for and possibly 70-680 and 70-685 or 686. I might just purchase the 2 (or 3 ) voucher set just to put pressure on myself to study for those 2 (or 3) tests sooner.

Same here, I purchased 70-680 and 70-685 Training Kits + Windows 7 resource kit back in July, I'm still in chapter 2 in the 70-680 book. icon_cry.gif

So in about 2 years. Mike is going to have MCP/MCTS/MCSA/MCSA:S/MCSE/MCSE:S/MCITP:SA/MCITP:EA lol. Then you will more certs than anyone. But that was your goal all along wasn't it . icon_lol.gificon_mike.gif

This looks interesting but I gotta wonder what effect this has on the value of the cert.

It is my plan to have all of those by sometime next year!

Don't forget that at one point the MCSE:Messaging was a prerequisite for the Cisco Unity Voice Mail Specialization Certificate. While that prerequisite looked like it was dropped (the last time I checked), MS Server knowledge still has value to a Cisco Voice wonk.

I saw that. They discontinued that in like 2008 right? I thought that was very interesting to have one vendor require another vendors certs. You could do it man. Then while your at it, why not do all of the LPIC exams as well for good measure. icon_lol.gif That would be a lot of work lol.

The first non-UNIX Server I supported that ran TCP/IP was Microsoft LAN Manager. And I will admit that after I loaded Windows NT 3.51 I didn't laugh and reformat the hard drive.....

So you are going to do some MS certs icon_confused.gif:

Actually..... when I decided to finally certify it came down to a choice between the Cisco CCIE or Redhat RHCE -- because of the Lab Exams. I do have the LPIC exams on my certification wish list, but I was never a big Redhat fanboy -- I started with Slackware and would use SuSE when the customer didn't want to pay for IBM/AIX. All my home Linux servers are still SuSE, but I'm probably going to change next upgrade cycle since Novell is where UNIX goes to die.

I did recently update my Certification wish list and remove the MCSE 2000 exams and noticed I already had the 2003 & new MCwhatever exams listed. icon_lol.gif

MCSE 2000? You really needed to update that list..lmao
athe MCSA 2003 would be really easy for you to obtain and would probably give you one of the cans in your "Keatron Six Pack" as I remember it being referred to in an old thread.

This would be excellent for someone who was, for instance going for his/her MCSE or MCITP:EA as it would give them discounts plus the free second shot if they purchase the exam vouchers in bulk. About time MS did this.

Awesome!!! I prepared for the MCTS: Managing Projects with Project 2007 and didnt take the exam because the CCNA Security and other things became necessary for a job. Now I think I will get that and the Excel Application Specialist one that Ive wanted for sooo long!!

One question: Do you have to specify which exams are you bundling or can you just pay 5 exams and take whichever you prefer along the way??
Training/Studying for....CCNP (BSCI) and some MS.

You just say you want a bundle of 5 and they send you a voucher code. When you register your first test you pay for all 5 tests. Every test you register from that point on uses the same voucher code and is "free". You don't have to specify at all.
