SSH Support?

I have a C2950-I6Q4L2-M), Version 12.1(6)EA2c switch, does this support SSH? I really am annoyed at getting hardware that doesn't do what I need it to do.

yeah, I've been looking at the Feature navigator. Unfortunately, it doesnt have my release, 12.1(6), isn't on the list, it only goes to release 12.1(9). Until I find anything different, I am looking at the version info, and this is has the SI. I am going to look at maybe getting a CCO account, so i can dl images.

Guest Level CCO still worked for downloading access switch IOS images last time I checked.

The download tree may have changed a bit since those threads. I think the 2950 will now be under an Access Switch branch.....

That will tell you whether SSH is an option on your current IOS or not. I've had the same issue on my switches and the IOS images for them are free with a guest account.

do you have a link for the location of the images? I have no idea where they are located on the cisco site, and as of earlier today I could not login to the site.

Try this and go to the switches section - Download Software - Cisco Systems

i just got 3 cisco 2950g switches off of ebay. I believe i had the same image as you currently have on 2 of them. the third had the c2950-i6k2l2q4-mz121-22EA13.bin image. I upgraded the other 2 to that image and they work fine. BTW My switches run the enhanced image. I dont think you can run the EI on a switch that came with the SI image. Just thought i would throw that out there.
