Does anyone know how to configure the Sharepoint enterprise search engine feature? has anyone configured it before? any help? I managed to get it up and running but it does not search for everything.

The company web portal uses sharepoint 2010 which is the equielent to MOSS 2007.

Standard or Enterprise? Not that it matters too much.
What is it not crawling?
Edit: What I should have asked is "Is it not crawling things you have already added as content sources or have you not added them as sources yet?"
