Thanks for all the materials and support guys! My test was harder than I expected, but none the less, I passed and I studied hard since June. I did practice exams from various sites. I would like to purse my sercurity + next.

Now, on my test, I did not have any subnetting at all. In fact, the instructor said not to worry about it. Just know your cabling, ethernet and OSI model. If any of you need any additional materials, just let me know.

    Congrats on the new cert!
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

    Congrats on your Network+ pass!

Since you may be looking at the Security+, I thought I'd drop the number one recommended book for it:

Amazon.com: CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead: SY0-201 Study Guide (9781439236369): Darril Gibson: Books

I should really be Darill's PR guy haha.

Thanks! I am hearing nothing but positive things about Darill Gibson's book. I will definitely get it once I know when I can take the class....

You and the 31 (mine hasn't shown up yet) Amazon reviewers who has highly rated him (and justifiably so...that book is great!).
