IT Manager manager sheets

itdaddyitdaddy Member Posts: 2,089 ■■■■□□□□□□
Hey guys

Does any of you know of any IT Manager sheets for budgeting, keeping track of telephone lines, T1 lines, you name it lines. And tracking of your entire system. The previous manager had nothing and stuff all over the place. I would like some kind of templates to help me manage all this stuff. Budgeting sheets to keep track of different bills/ivoicing etc..through out the year? I can make my own but thought maybe there are template out there I can just build upon?
Thanks

Get yourself a wiki as well, to store & manage your documentation. I use Confluence by Atlassian, but it may be overkill for your needs. My development teams primarily use it, but I do too.

    ahahaa boz
that is so funny...yeah I am just lazy. But at the same time
I just do not want to reinvent the wheel. I am sure there are some cool
templates. Yeah, I can render some stuff but just wanted the fast track.
Since my previous IT manager had no structure nothing zilch! I am really
a n a l retentive about having stuff super organized. I really want to see where the money is coming and going. Okay, I suck at accounting but I have a little accountant in me some where ha ha

and boz I have not forgotten you when we are ready to do a pent test etc.
which might be next year after the dust settles in my new job, you are the first guy I will get a hold of for sure man for reals!

Yeah I find myself googling Excel and Word a lot more now a days. When you have to send out documents or spreadsheets management likes it when they are perty.icon_rolleyes.gif
